No Electrical Power What So Ever – Please Help

Need some serious help, after trying to retrofit cruise control into the fuse box for a fused 12v at fuse # 12 (non-cruise control loom) I still had the battery connected (idiot!) and must have either shorted something out or pulled something loose as I was pulling and poking around in the fuse box.

    Checked all fuses – Ok
    Battery – OK,
Don’t see any disconnected plugs (only pulled on the fuse box enough to tilt a few inches to get at the underside)
No power to anything, which suggests more of a system wide relay/fuse vs. something getting pulled loose.

Question: Is there a master relay or fuse somewhere else that would protect the system if one were to make such a rookie mistake (no sparks or smells, just dead)? Where's the best place to start testing????

Maybe you dislodged the master feed into the fusebox ?

Its a BIG fat red cable that comes from battery into fusebox on a heavy 'L30' terminal. Thats about the only thing would explain no power to anything - unless you also have poor/broken earth strap at the battery ?

That was it. Took a while to find it as it had fallen under and was/is very short. Had to go from the drivers well, thru the nest to the box to re-attach. Cursing over.
